In today’s world of technological advances, composers have the ability to experiment with music of different cultures and styles, combining and altering them to create new hybrids. “Surrender” is a short chamber piece which I composed in a hybrid style, combining Western Art Music and Contemporary Pop/Rock music. The lyrics explore the sentiment of finding one’s voice.
