Program Notes

A juggernaut is defined as a massive, powerful, unstoppable force. This is portrayed

in the music through a recurring theme in the woodwinds along with powerful brass

and percussion lines. The music was inspired by an imaginary storyline of a hero

facing an approaching juggernaut.

Who will prevail?

Juggernaut was commissioned by the ASPIRE institute in 2024.
